Help Us Help More Golden’s Like Nala.

Dear GRRSW,
Thank you so much for finding me such a wonderful family. I say that I am pretty lucky dog to have found such a great family, but my family thinks they are the lucky ones to have found such a wonderful dog.
I am doing well adjusting to mom and dad. My days consist of sleeping on the couch (I even have my own spot) when dad is home and going to the dog park to see my friends.  When dad is working, I sleep in my crate until mom gets home. I help her with laundry and grading papers. I do enjoy catching the tennis ball, playing tug, and my long walks. I can't wait for the weather to cool.  Last week, mom and I saw four deer on our walk!
When I came to my forever home, I had some sores on my legs from nipping at them. I would like to let everyone know, the sores are healed.  I do have some scares, but my legs are no longer infected or bleeding.  I don't know if I have lost weight, but mom and dad are trying.
I did try interior design, but it didn't work out too well.  Mom and dad weren't impressed with the hole in the couch. But I wanted to thank the trainer, Lynn Morningstar, for all the advice she gave mom and dad after my redecorating.  Please give new families her contact information if needed.  She was fabulous.
Based on the wonderful experience Mom and Dad have had with GRRSW, they are interested in fostering or adopting another dog when we get a bigger home.
To my friends who have not found their forever homes... I have my paws crossed.  Mom and I read your stories on Facebook. We know you will have a second chance like me.
Thank you GRRSW for giving me another shot at a forever home.
Love,
Nala
